SCARAB Workout Schedule

Here are the regularly scheduled SCARAB workouts. Additional workouts occur on a spontaneous basis during the week whenever someone sends an email to the club about their workout. Just read the club emails to find out what's happening in any given week in addition to the workouts below. Please email the contact person before going to a workout to confirm that other members will be there. If you want to work out with other members besides the workouts below, please email the club the details of when/where/what you're doing. Send the email notice as far in advance as possible, but in any case at least one day in advance, since most members receive a daily email compilation the day after messages are sent. If any workout becomes so popular that SCARAB members are always there, please email us the details in the format below and it will be added to this page. Happy training!


Day: Thursday
Name: Mountain Bike in the Santa Monica Mountains
Time: 7:00 a.m.
Location: Santa Monica Mountains starting in Brentwood.
Directions:
Meet at the corner of San Vicente and 26th in Brentwood. In front of the gas station.
Description: Approximately 2-hour ride on various trails in the Santa Monica Mountains. The goal is to get back to the start by 9:00 a.m. We'll usually go up Sullivan Canyon to Dirt Mulholland, from which there are lots of possibilities: back down Sullivan Canyon, down Sullivan Ridge, the whoops, Westridge, Westridge singletrack, etc. We'll decide when we get there, and people can split off depending on their time constraints, where they live, skill level, etc.
What to bring: Water, spare tire and pump.
Ability level: All levels.
